Family life - most of my family live in the local area - Manchester.

Family History: some family in Gateshead (mother's side) some relatives in Clonmel (father's side) Republic of Ireland some in Cambridge, they ran a pub in Whittlesford many years ago (father's brothers) and Philidelphia and Los Angeles in the USA (father's sisters).

JamesWorking in admin. for the council here in Wythenshawe, sometimes it's strange working in an office see the top five rules for office etiquette.
Also have worked in Wythenshawe Library helping Learn Direct students for a couple of hours on a Sunday - can be fulfilling.
Interests include gardening; all aspects of art and design. Reading books. Watching films.
sports: running; cycling; swimming;
Studying at the Open University to gain BSc(Hons) in IT and Computing.
Already gained qualifications in:
Certificate in Information Technology and Computing.
T171 and M150.
Currently studying MU120 and T187 to gain Certificate in Mathematics and Computing on the way to the degree.
I am a student member of the British Computer Society (BCS).
[previously studied at Birmingham Polytechnic (3 years at the College of Art and Design)
now the Birmingham City University and before that the University of Central England.
My first year tutor, Greg Sipe is a fascinating man from the USA.
Second year tutor, Joe Holyoak still working hard in Birmingham to improve the built environment).

Wythenshawe Hall
Living in Wythenshawe Manchester - near the Airport - can be noisy! manchesterairport.co.uk/ .However, Wythenshawe itself is still a Garden City although we have Microsoft SAP and many other large companies based here now in one of our many Business Parks. Wythenshawe Hospital is a major health centre for the North West of England.
Wythenshawe Hall - witnessed battles from the times of Cromwell, surrounded by landscaped gardens and horticultural buildings.
And some lovely countryside and National Trust areas at Styal Quarry Bank Mill. close by.
