Baguley Hall, Wythenshawe, Manchester

Baguley Hall is a unique timber framed hall,
built in the 1350's and in the guardianship of English Heritage, listed Grade 1.

It has been uninhabited since the 1950's when it ceased to be occupied as a farmhouse.

Recently studies have been completed to examine the extension of the house to provide
accommodation for the Manchester Registrar of Births, Deaths and Marriages,
and as a venue for civil marriages.

Recently a  wide range of repairs have been completed to the medieval timber frame,
and the removal of the 1970's blockwork and render infill panels.
They have been replaced with traditional split oak laths and traditional  clay and straw.
